meet Kate Miller
Well-versed in Southern etiquette and expertly trained in communication and graphic design, event planner Katherine Miller coordinates distinctive weddings and events across the South Carolina lowcountry.
Katherine happily travels to beaches, museums and plantations for unique celebrations. And whether they’re hosted in Charleston, Pawleys Island or Edisto Beach, her fêtes have been featured in publications like Charleston Weddings and Weddings Unveiled as well as on blogs like Style Me Pretty, Southern Weddings and The Wedding Row.
Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Katherine and her family reside in the same Mount Pleasant neighborhood that she grew up in—although she previously worked as an event coordinator for A. Dominick events in Washington, DC. After organizing celebrations like a destination wedding in Aix-en-Provence, France, a fundraiser at the French Ambassador’s residence and a family-filled fête on a Virginia vineyard with this boutique firm, Katherine aims to combine the District’s stylish trends with classic Southern décor.
Today, Katherine designs a limited number of weddings annually. If you are hosting a celebration in or around the South Carolina lowcountry, please consider allowing her to be part of your event.
